City of Newnan

Newnan hosts a number of events and festivals throughout the year including the Spring Tour of Homes, the Magnolia Blossom Festival and the Annual Festival Days during Labor Day weekend.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Newnan had a population of 16,242 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 30.0%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
